Emergency Procedures for Trailer Use

- Call for Assistance:
- Contact Empire Trailer Hire immediately at 0480 375 450.
- If you are unable to reach us, call NRMA Roadside Assistance directly at 13 11 22.
- All trailers from Empire Trailer Hire come with roadside assistance provided by NRMA.
- Stay Safe While Waiting:
- Remain inside the vehicle if it's safe, especially if you're on a busy road.
- If you must exit the vehicle, do so from the side away from traffic.
In Case of an Accident:
- Check for Injuries:
- Ensure that everyone involved in the accident is okay. Call emergency services immediately if anyone is injured.
- Move to a Safe Location:
- If the vehicles are operable and it's safe, move them to the side of the road to avoid blocking traffic.
- Exchange Information and Contact Empire Trailer Hire:
- Exchange contact and insurance information with the other party/parties involved.
- Take photos of the accident scene and any damages for insurance purposes.
- Notify Empire Trailer Hire at 0480 375 450 as soon as possible.
- Report the Accident:
- Depending on the severity, you may need to report the accident to the police.
- Notify your insurance company as soon as possible.
- Wait for Assistance:
